Wednesday Night Vespers, Catechism Class, & Bible Study

On Wednesday evenings at the North Campus, we have Daily Vespers followed by a light lenten meal starting at 6:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, we will have our adult catechism class as well as Bible Study led by Father Nicholas Long on the Gospel of Matthew. This is a great time to come learn more about our Orthodox Faith. (Catechism and Bible Study will happen at the same time so you can attend one or the other.)

Thursday Morning Class "The Early Life of the Church" with Fr. Dan Daly Starting September 16

Fr Daniel will offer a daytime class on Thursdays at 10:30 AM at the North Campus starting September 16. The classes will examine the very early life of the church from ancient documents. We will examine how they worshipped, their life of faith and morals, and what they read. Those who attend may bring up any topic or matter of interest to them. The class will last about an hour.

Ladies Guild

All St. Elias Ladies are invited to gather on Sunday, December 12th at the North Campus from Noon to 2pm. We will have a white elephant gift exchange ($20 gift limit), will have a fun craft project, and enjoy a time of fellowship together. If there are men/children in your family, encourage them to gather somewhere for lunch so the ladies can have some time together! Please respond to the form in GroupMe to RSVP or contact Elisabeth Miller, JoAnna Grafton-Cardwell, Lauren Jasinkski, or Linda Mingus for more information. Next event will be in January at the downtown campus.

Theological Book Club

In this book club, we will read some important works of historical, patristic, and dogmatic theology. The current cohort is going over Fr John Behr's Way to Nicea. We meet the second and fourth Saturday of the month, 3PM at North Campus. Email for more information about joining.
