Our Clergy

People in various ministries serve in the Orthodox Church, both men and women, clergy and laity. The major clergy are those men who serve as priests and deacons, entrusted with pastoral leadership within parishes and stewardship of the Church’s rites and sacraments. Priests preside over services, visit the sick, teach, pray, and provide counsel to people, assisted by the deacons and other minor orders and lay leaders of the parish, joined together in the single work of spreading Christ’s Kingdom.

Our Staff

The staff of St Elias Orthodox Church facilitates the daily work of the parish, assisting the clergy in clerical work and services, organizing ministries and events, teaching and youth work, and administering facilities.
