Saint Elias Orthodox Church is located a few blocks from the Texas State Capitol and the downtown area, and not far from the University of Texas. The church is accessible from major roads and by Capital Metro public transportation.
Times for services may be found at Service Schedule and in the weekly Bulletin. Fr. David's Pastor's Announcements frequently make note of special services and classes for parish education. You may also visit our new calendar page for a list of upcoming events.
We welcome visitors. Services are almost entirely in English. For a description of our parish, go here. For the Pastor's brief Introduction to Orthodoxy, go here. See also links to online Orthodox materials.
St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Parish is a local parish of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

Website Updates On Khouriya Luanne
As many of you already know, Kh. Luanne Barr was seriously injured at the end of October while vacationing in Italy. She is currently recuperating from her
second surgery. For more information and updates on her condition, please visit http://posthope.org/luanne
The recovery will be long and Father David is not expecting to be in Austin before December. Please hold off on phone calls to Father David, for now. If you
need something, please feel to call the church office. Emails to Father David and
cards are welcome. Please contact the church office for the address of the hotel. You
can also bring them to church, and we will send them all together from Church
in one package. We have not started to ask for donations yet, but if anyone wants
to donate at this point please make the check to St. Elias, with a memo that says
“Recovery Fund”. Some people have started to make unsolicited donations,
which is wonderful. However, as you know, we don’t know what/how much
we will need yet to truly help Father David and Kh. Luanne.
