A great ascetic and an example to the other monastics and laity, he eventually moved his cell to the top of a pillar to avoid the crowds who came to see him and get his advice every day. Services Cancelled for January 25
Out of an abundance of caution, all Sunday services are cancelled on January 25 due to the winter storm that has affected the Central Texas area. Our first priority is the safety and well-being of all our parishioners and visitors. Please stay home and stay safe.
Metropolitan SABA's Visit Postponed
Due to the approaching winter storm, Metropolitan SABA has postponed his visit to St. Elias this weekend. His primary concern is the safety of our parish community, and we will work with His Eminence to reschedule the visit at a later date.
